Woodland Watch #012059

The client described that little “W” would have a woodland themed nursery. This image grew out of a rough concept of a baby napping against a tree trunk in a forest with a squirrel on the stump. As each new element was added and worked, another idea would spark and more elements added until the story evolved into a whole nursery of young animals standing guard (and falling asleep on the job) on the forest floor at the foot of this expansive tree. This was a composited art piece using the original newborn image shot in studio and extracted and placed into an AI generated forest. Animals, branches, and other elements from stock images were added and all the pieces were hand blended together with a light painterly effect.
